Originally born on the North Shore of Massachusetts, Ian first began visiting Maine as a child, spending summers at his family’s oceanside cottage on Quahog Bay in Harpswell. Ian quickly grew a fondness for the Maine culture, lifestyle, and people. After completing his Bachelor’s degree at Stonehill College (Easton, MA), Ian moved to Maine full-time and began his career in real estate sales, specializing in the sale of coastal properties and second homes.
Ian’s former career pursuits include holding positions as a Licensed Insurance Producer for Liberty Mutual Insurance and the Behavioral Health Services Manager for Woodfords Family Services. Ian is particularly proud of his time spent at Woodfords, a nonprofit organization specializing in the care, advocacy, and treatment of children and adults with developmental disabilities. While employed with Woodfords, Ian received the Board of Directors President’s Award for Excellence in Supervisory Services. Ian has always considered himself a lifelong learner and continually strives to grow in the areas of professional and personal development. In 2017, Ian received his Master of Science in Healthcare Administration from St. Joseph’s College (Standish, ME).
Ian currently lives in Brunswick with his wife Tonya and their daughter Fallon. The family owns two dogs, a Border Collie/Australian Shepherd mix named Bandit, and a Shetland Sheepdog named Bert. Ian has a great love of animals and has spent time volunteering for the Coastal Humane Society. Ian’s hobbies include golfing, boating, fishing, hiking, and participating in yearly summer softball and basketball leagues.
In his spare time, Ian enjoys participating in community events and has held a number of volunteer positions including Chairman of the Board of Directors at MidCoast Maine Community Action (Bath, ME), Little League Coach (Harpswell, ME), and volunteer Firefighter and Emergency Medical Technician (Harpswell, ME).
Ian is Realtor® and holds membership in the local, state, and national association of Realtors®.
